Guest Appearance: The Fluff, Volume V

The Fluff is a cat with a high standard of living, and he has many opportunities that other cats can only dream of. Dave, for example, would love to have the freedom to explore the world outside at his leisure. Jack, meanwhile, would love to have a fancy slate floor in his kitchen, as well as a nice fireplace or three to keep him warm. 

The Fluff has all of these things, and he makes the most of them. 

Guest Appearance: The Fluff, Volume IV

Here you can see The Fluff enjoying one of his favorite hobbies, reading about current events in the newspaper. This is a hobby that Dave does not often have the opportunity to pursue. He used to have access to newspapers when he lived on the mean streets of Iowa (although he had to steal them from peoples' porches,) but when he transitioned to a domestic life after being "rescued," he lost access to newspapers.

The Fluff does not devote nearly as much time to nonsense as some of his colleagues do, but that doesn't mean his life is completely devoid of goofy behavior. He is certainly not against mewling loudly at 4am for no particular reason, or rolling around in the dirt outside, or trying to eat grass, or, as you can see here, crawling under a blanket that is meant for a person rather than a cat. 

Fluffy is well-rounded like that. He takes life seriously, but not too seriously.

Guest Appearance: The Fluff, Volume II

The Fluff spends a lot of his time resting on the floor. His home, unlike Dave's, has plentiful carpet, much better napping material than hardwood floors. Sometimes he will use the hardwood floors for stretching, because he likes variety, but carpet is generally better for naps. Dave would be ecstatic to live in Fluffy's house. Fluffy's house not only has more carpet, but it is also much bigger, providing many more napping possibilities that Dave could explore. Whereas Dave has one couch, one bed, and one chair, Fluffy has more than triple that many potential napping locations. Not only that, but he can also go outside and nap on the grass outside. 

Guest Appearance: The Fluff

This is Fluffy, also known as The Fluff. Dave has never met Fluffy, but the two have very much in common. They could be considered adoptive cousins, as while they are part of the same family, they have no blood relation (presumably). Fluffy, like Dave, is also a big fan of naps, exploring, and eating food. He is also a big fan of the outdoors. Fluffy, however, has much greater access to the outdoors than Dave. As we know, Dave has unfortunately spent little time outdoors since he was 'rescued' from his life on the mean streets of Iowa. Fluffy, meanwhile, lives in a house that is not only much bigger than Dave's, but also has cat-accessible doors, allowing Fluffy to explore the great outdoors whenever he desires. 

As you might have noticed in this photograph, Fluffy has something else in common with Dave. Fluffy does not suffer fools gladly.
