Dave has announced that today will be a day for napping near the window, even though he is slightly too large for the platform you see him in below.

Loafin' by the Window
Dave decided to enjoy the afternoon loafing on his perch next to the window. The natural light is pleasurable to Dave, especially in the winter, when such light is scarce and does not reach far into his home.

A Snow Day for Dave
Dave loves the winter, especially now that he no longer lives on the mean streets of Iowa. Those streets were bitterly cold in the winter months, but now that Dave resides indoors permanently, Dave loves a good snowstorm. He finds the slow precipitation truly mesmerizing, and considers it a form of art created by nature.

Dave's favorite season
Dave enjoys fall. It is his favorite season without a doubt, mostly because it is the season that is furthest away from the dreadful, dreadful summer. There are many things that Dave enjoys doing in the fall that can't be done in the summer. For example, Dave can sleep under blankets in the fall. Dave loves the cool air, the calm breezes, and the changing colours.
Here he is engaging in one of his favorite fall activities, looking out the window from his perch atop the couch*.

Changing of the seasons
Dave is excited for spring. He knows the first days of spring also mean the first days of extended time with the window open, and Dave sure loves looking out a window. He enjoys the fresh air, the breeze, and the increased ability to see and hear things happening outside the home. Sitting by an open window gives Dave a little taste of life on the outside, helping keep him a well-adjusted cat.
