Guest Appearance: Goldie, Volume IV

Now Goldie is just showing off his flexibility. Dave can try, but he just can't compete on the same level as Goldie when it comes to flexibility. Dave's relative inferiority in this area probably has a something to do with Dave's love of food. 

Although Goldie clearly excels at this, there is still a lot he could learn from Dave. Dave doesn't care that much about flexibility anyway, preferring to focus instead on creative napping.

Guest Appearance: Goldie, Volume III

Goldie, a friend of Dave's, is a pretty smart cat. Here you can see him taking a break from studying for a quick nap. Goldie does not spend as much time napping as Dave does. If Goldie was able to spend some time with Dave, Dave could teach Goldie some great napping strategies. Even as a relative novice, though, Goldie has already perfected a few key strategies. As you can see here, he has developed a very good version of The Conch.

Guest Appearance: Goldie, Volume II

Goldie is generally a pretty reserved cat, but like his colleagues Dave and Blue, he does have some propensity for goofy behavior. With even more flexibility than Dave has, Goldie can get himself into some pretty weird positions. Sometimes he wants to stretch, but sometimes he just needs more variety in life. Unlike Dave and most of the other cool cats to appear on The Dafe, Goldie lives in a one-cat residence, so he has to entertain himself a lot of the time.

Goldie is yet another member of Dave's extended family. They are practically neighbors, but again, like Fluffy, Blue, and LeiLei, they have not met each other. Goldie has used Dave's cat carrier though, so they are acquainted at least by smell.

Goldie is a much more restless napper than Dave, but he shares some of Dave's skills. He even exceeds Dave's skills in some areas, like flexibility. As we know, Dave is quite flexible for his size, but he's no match for Goldie.
