Persistence

Dave has a level of persistence unmatched by most other cats. Really the only other worldly thing that can compete with Dave's persistence is the Java updater. Day after day, the goal is the same.

It is Dave's remarkable persistence that allows him to develop great napping techniques such as this one. It's not always easy, but Dave can work through times of frustration, because he knows his goal is comfort, and he won't stop until he achieves it.

The Ledge Conch

As we know, Dave often seeks to develop new napping techniques by combining two fully-developed techniques. Here, as you can plainly see, he has done it again! Dave has combined an old standby, The Conch, with a newer development, The Ledge, to form The Ledge Conch.

Dave's true greatness in napping is at its most apparent when Dave makes a bold, creative choice like he does here. He has no fear when it comes to forging new strategies. He knows he has to take chances to succeed. That is what he has done here, aided in no small part by his legendary courage.

Leonardo Dave Inci

Dave considers napping an art form. He dedicates at least a few hours each day to creative napping. That's the kind of perseverance it takes to achieve the level of greatness that Dave has achieved. As you can see below, Dave was struck by true inspiration today, so his efforts paid off. This looks like a very comfortable napping style. But just because Dave looks comfortable now doesn't mean it was easy. Great artists like Leonardo Dave Inci make the impossible look easy.

Courage

A significant contributor to Dave's greatness in napping is certainly his courageousness. No cat has ever embarked on a career of napping with the same courage and bravery as Dave has. Indeed, few individuals of any species have ever displayed as much courage as Dave has displayed in his relentless pursuit of greater napping strategies. Maybe Jackie Robinson and Rosa Parks did. Maybe Tom Hanks did in Saving Private Ryan. Maybe Dennis Rodman did when he drunkenly waved his unlit cigar at a CNN reporter before playing a basketball game in front of a dictator who had only recently murdered his uncle with wild dogs. Certainly Mufasa belongs in this group. Either way, the list of individuals who have been more courageous than Dave is a short one.

But if you ask Dave, he'll tell you that is what it takes to be great. You have to be courageous enough to take chances without worrying about what might happen if you fail. What will people think? What will people say? These are questions that only cowards ask themselves before doing something. Braver individuals don't hesitate, and they don't worry about appearances. Below, you can see Dave in yet another installment of this pose. He wouldn't be able to adopt a pose if he were a less courageous cat. Courage breeds greatness.
