One of the great things about The Ledge is that it allows Dave to enjoy the comfort of multiple different surfaces. For example, he can nap on a blanket and a pillow at the same time. As we know, he is a huge fan of both blankets and pillows, and being able to enjoy both at the same time is a tremendous benefit that The Ledge provides. It would be silly for Dave to arbitrarily restrict himself to just one comfortable surface at a time.
